Trainee Letting Agent
Tughan & Cochrane Ltd are a letting agent based in Inverness. We are currently looking to recruit a member of staff to work alongside the existing team in our busy office.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard working and able to offer support to the lettings department as required. No qualifications are necessary and opportunities for professional development and training will be provided.
The position is full-time and working hours will be 35 hours per week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accompanied property viewings
- Tenant applications and vetting
- Compiling photographic inventories
- Routine maintenance inspections & creating mid-term reports
- Property checkouts
- Ensuring property compliance
- Organising & managing repairs & maintenance via online repair hub
- Advertising photographs, walkthrough videos and website admin
- Liaising with accounts colleagues, landlords, tenants and contractors
- Deposit administration
- Call-handling, housekeeping & general administrative duties
- Other duties as required
Experience & Attributes:
- Experience in a similar role
- Computer literate
- A professional, calm & polite demeanour – in person and on the phone
- Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks and work independently
- Good communication skills
- Any relevant qualifications
Benefits:
- Your starting salary will be £19,000.00 pa
- Holiday allowance is 33 days a year
